Disabled Access Information
2 October: Crescent Theatre, Birmingham
Lift access to all public areas. Spaces for 6 wheelchair users in auditorium. Infra-red sound system with headsets available
3 October: Old Fire Station, Oxford
Ground floor access to all bar and toilet areas. Lift into auditorium. Can accommodate up to 6 wheelchair users.
4 October: Nuffield Theatre Studio, Southampton
Ramped access to main building and all areas. Lift to studio space. Chairs are removed for wheelchair users so pre-booking essential.
5 October: Leeds, The Carriageworks
Full access to all areas. Useful for the theatre to know in advance of any wheelchair users coming to the show. Induction loop available.
11 October: Y Theatre, Leicester
Wheelchair access to bar area, ground floor toilet and into theatre space. Can accommodate unlimited wheelchair users as chairs are removed on end of rows. An induction loop is avialable – best to pre-book.
12 and 13 October: New Vic Theatre, Stoke
The studio space is on the ground floor level so no access problems. Can accommodate 8 wheelchair users.. Disabled toilets on ground floor. Lift to bar area.
14 October: Mumford Theatre, Cambridge
Level access to all areas - bar and auditorium on ground floor, disabled toilets near the entrance. They can accommodate up to 5 wheelchair users in the audiroium, but there is some flexibility for larger groups than this if the theatre is notified at time of booking. An induction loop is available.
20 October: Performance Academy, Newcastle-upon-Tyne
Access for wheelchair users to all areas – theatre, bar and disabled toilets are all on ground floor. Can accommodate unlimited number of wheelchair users as seats are removed. An induction loop system is available.
22 October: Cochrane Theatre, London
There is wheelchair access to the theatre space (on ground floor) and disabled toilet. The theatre can accommodate a maximum of 4 wheelchair users per performance - it is advisable to pre-book. Accessible lift to bar area. No induction loop system.
25 October: Colchester Arts Centre
Ramped access to all areas. No restriction on number of wheelchair users per performance. Bar has lowered counter. An induction loop system is available.
26 October: Library Theatre, Sheffield
2 wheelchair user spaces. Must contact Ros Wollon before booking on 07909977746
27 October: Arena Theatre, Wolverhampton
Full access to all areas. Useful for the theatre to know in advance of any wheelchair users coming to the show. Induction loop available.
28 October: Sir John Mills Theatre, Ipswich
Full access to bar area and theatre. Up to 6 wheelchair users can be accommodated in the auditorium. No disabled toilets and access is an issue here. An induction loop is available.
29 October: Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield
Theatre was awarded an ‘Adapt’ award for good disabled access. All entrances are ramped and there is level access to auditorium, bar and disabled toilets. The theatre can accommodate 4 wheelchair users per performance. An induction loop is available.
3 & 4 November: Unity Theatre, Liverpool
The theatre is fully accessible in all areas. Theatre and disabled toilets on ground floor and lift access to bar, further toilets and second theatre space. There are no restrictions on number of wheelchair users per performance. An induction loop and headphones are available.
